National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS)
About the Program
The National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) was launched by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) in 2016. The scheme offers financial sharing of stipend with employers up to 25% (maximum ₹1,500 per month per apprentice) and sharing of basic training cost. It is designed to bridge the skill gap in manufacturing and services.
Eligibility Criteria
ITI Pass candidates, Class 10th/12th pass students, or PMKVY/MES certified candidates. Age limit: 14 to 35 years.

Register on the official Apprenticeship India portal, complete profile, search for vacancies in your trade, and apply online.
Benefits Offered
Monthly stipend (min ₹7,000 - ₹8,000 depending on trade), hands-on industry experience, and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) upon clearing AITT.
