About the Program
PMKVY aims to enable a large number of Indian youth to take up industry-relevant skill training which will help them in securing a better livelihood. Individuals with prior learning experience or skills will also be assessed and certified under Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
Eligibility Criteria
Indian nationality youth aged 15-45, unemployed or school/college dropouts.
Application Process
Locate registered PMKVY training center, select desired trade, submit Aadhaar/education proofs, and enroll.
Benefits Offered
Free skill training, assessment, and certification. Reward stipend of ₹2,000 on successful completion of training.
